MSHA Event Policies

• Your registration is complete when payment is received in full.
• Your registration may be paid using check or credit card.
  • A 2.99% surcharge will be applied to your conference registration if you choose to pay by credit card. This surcharge offsets the association’s credit card processing costs.
  • Check payments must be received 10 days prior to the start of the event for your registration to be valid.
    • Please make your payable to MSHA or Michigan Speech-Language-Hearing Association and mail to: MSHA, P.O. Box 45, Buchanan, Michigan 49107
• Payment is due in full 10 days prior to the start of the event or training. Payments not received in full may be subject to registration cancellation.

• Registration closes 10 days prior to start of the virtual event.
• Registration requests accepted after the closing date may be added at the discretion of MSHA and will be subject to an additional $40.00 processing fee. Please contact MSHA at conference@mislha.org
• Important Notice: Individual registration is required for all conference attendees. Only attendees with their own individual registration are eligible for attendance verification and CEU credit. Group or shared registrations are not allowed and do not qualify for attendance verification or CEU credit. 

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and will be accepted via email at conference@mislha.org
• Cancellations received between registration opening and 14 days prior to the start of the event, will receive a full refund, minus a $40.00 administrative fee. Please allow MSHA up to 90 days to issue your refund.
• Cancellations requested after 14 days prior to start of event, will not be refunded for any reason including, without limitation, lack of participation in workshops, failure to attend due to illness, acts of God, travel-related problems, acts of terrorism, public health emergencies or alerts, loss of employment, and/or duplicate purchases.

• If an attendee is unable to attend for any reason and to avoid fees associated with a cancellation, a different individual may be substituted to attend in their place.

• It is the original registrant’s responsibility to notify MSHA via email (conference@mislha.org) to arrange the substitution at least 15 days prior to start of the event.

• Failure to notify MSHA of substitution will result in registration cancellation. See cancellation policy for refund information.
