Conference October 23-25, 2008, Quick Link: Information regarding Audiology Licensing issues can be found at: http://www.michigan.gov/mdch/0,1607,7-132-27417_27529_31491---,00.html Audiology Happenings… Licensure Bill Signed: On March 18, 2004, Senate Bill 206 (H-6) the Audiology Licensure Bill passed in the House of Representatives on a 98-8 vote. The bill then went back to the Senate for concurrence, and the Senate concurred unanimously on April 2, 2004. Now 14 months after the bill was introduced, it was signed into law by Governor Granholm on May 20, 2004. After many years of work by so many on audiology licensure it has become a reality. Congratulations!!
