Ann Kummer, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, ASHA Fellow, University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children's Hospital will present a afternoon the Short Course: Resonance Disorders and Velopharyngeal Dysfunction: Evaluation and Treatment Using Low Tech and "No Tech" Procedures.
Jill Matthews, M.A., CCC-SLP, Charlevoix-Emmet ISD and Colin A. Macpherson, M.A., CCC-SLP, Mecosta-Osceola ISD, will present a Short Course entitled: SLPs, CBI, and RTI: Putting Theory Into Practice.
Michael Bambery, Ph.D., Center for Neuropsychology, Learning and Development, Ann Arbor will present an afternoon Short Course: The Disorganized Student: Connecting Executive Functioning Problems and Escalating School Demands with Learning Difficulties. This talk will focus on executive dysfunction and the impact of escalating school demands on children, as well as explore ways to help children compensate for problems with executive functions.
