Upcoming Conferences:
The Michigan Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program (EHDI) will hold a conference on Friday, February 26th at the Kellogg Center, East Lansing. This conference is intended for families of young children with hearing loss and professionals who work with deaf/hard of hearing children. A Pre-Conference Parent Dinner will be held on Thursday, February 25th. Presenters include Ann Marie Tharpe, Ph.D. Professor and Chair of the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences and Associate Director of the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center; Robert L. Baldwin, Ph.D., licensed clinical psychologist, VA Medical Center, Memphis, Tennessee; Harold Johnson, Ed.D., Professor of Special Education (deaf and hard of hearing); and Beth Kennedy, M.Ed., QAlll, Director of DeafBlind Central: Michigan's Training and Resource Project, and an American Sign Language instructor at Central Michigan University.
